The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. Great staff, very good location and free equipment hire. Felt like home!

Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. This resort was Heaven on Earth. The staff went above and beyond and they were all super nice. The views from the restaurant and bar overlooking the Coral Sea were astonishing and so was the food. The natural swimming pools were a delight as well, but what really stood out beside the staff were the tours for guests only. I loved them all: the Nature Walking Tour with Brett, the Star Gazing tour with Rose, the Coconut Odissey tour with Geff and also the cultural presentation about the Kuku Yalanji. There is also a private beach for guests only and it was lovely to walk around the property and spotting birds, butterflies, plants and all that nature has to offer. If one does not want to walk there is a buggy service taking you around the resort 24/7 and reception is also open 24/7. There is even a Turtle Lookout to spot seaturtles. The bungalows with their porches overlooking either the sea or the forest were stunning and what I loved the most about this place was how the resort was the background of the surrounding nature and not the other way around.

This was the perfect llocation for bars and restaurants and right beside 4 mile beach. Ken on reception was so friendly and helpful with maps and suggestions for our day trips. Lots of little extras like filtered water, ice, books, bar b q and even umbrellas for guests use. A really enjoyable stay.

Paradise Links Resort Port Douglas, is ideally located to explore the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. Guests enjoy 2 lagoon-style swimming pools, a tennis court and free WiFi. it was such a nice place to stay in Port Douglas if you have a car! close to the center (10 minutes) and close to the wildlife habitat! the staff was so nice and there was everything in the apartment! the swimming pool was really nice!

Nestled within Port Douglas’ resort town surrounded by signature restaurants and boutique shops lies Mantra in the Village Port Douglas. Location, the deck, listening to the birds sing, the pool, the restaurants right beside it. They even had smooth jazz playing from the tv when I walked into my room
