The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. We are very satisfied with our stay. Everything is just perfectly suited for our taste. We get a spacious room in the new building and so quiet and clean. And the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Location is great too. Easily accessible to Zugspitze, Partnachklamm and 1 hour drive to Innsbruck.

The superior Atlas Grand Hotel offers grand, individually furnished rooms with wooden furniture. Some rooms feature a balcony overlooking the Bavarian Alps. The person greeting us was affable, kind and communicative; he immediately put us at ease. Champagne was handed to us upon arrival as well as the offer of a hot towel for our hands and face. The room was gorgeous, you can see the historic information and the brochure with the WiFi gave us more information regarding the history - genuinely fascinating. We paid for rooms facing the mountains and it was definitely worth it, the view was gorgeous and it allowed for us to relax as we had a couple of Radlers and watched the stars come out. 10/10, would recommend. We have already discussed coming back again because of the quality of the hotel. Danke!
