Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.
