Great accommodation, very clean, Florian the host was amazing and gave us his time when asking questions. With lots of good local information. Our room (third floor) had an amazing view. Certainly a great place to stay.

All rooms and apartments have cable TV and a bathroom with toiletries. Most have a balcony. What a wonderful little apartment. The shower was great! The bedroom had plenty of room to move around the bed, and the windows had blackout shades. comfortable living room area if you’d like to sit someplace along with a dining table and a kitchen with all the conveniences.  I also appreciated the extras that you could purchase while staying there, like having a load of laundry, done, or purchasing tea or coffee to have in your room while staying there. They also provide a great breakfast each day.

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental. The hotel stands alone in a beautiful natural spot, with an easy 5 min ferry ride to St Gilgen. There are lots of hiking and swimming spots. The boat provides easy access to St Wolfgang and Strobl. The restaurant is relaxed but excellent quality and very popular with locals. Booking is recommended. Every night we were delighted to eat the delicious specials. Breakfast was simply amazing, the chefs are superb! The staff were hard working and incredibly friendly.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. Such a nice little hotel! Innkeepers were a delight. Excellent location.

This individually designed countryside hotel offers 4-star comfort and features a private bathing place and a lakeside garden. There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. What a great place to stay. This hotel is in the center of St. Wolfgang although I did have to ask a few people where exactly it was. This hotel is right on Lake Wolfgang. Breakfast was very good with Frau Stephanie handling the food service duties. Frau Patricia was often at the front desk and she was invaluable at giving ideas about things to do in the village. She is a gal that tells it like it is. Whatever she says, that's it. There were a couple of other ladies taking turns at the front desk that were also quite nice and helpful. Overall, the staff were excellent. The room was nice and modern. It's the kind of place where those little toiletries are in the bathroom, in case you misplaced something. I would certainly stay there again should I find myself in St. Wolfgang. ALSO want to mention that there is a great souvenir shop directly across the way from the hotel's front door (Name is Geschenke, address Markt 75). Good place to buy and bring back a few trinkets for the folks back home. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and well recommended.
