Excellent quality of the products, rich choice and beautiful presentation. It was just delicious. I am planning to come back there in future to spend more time. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. This was the best stay of our family trip! The place was very clean and comfortable, perfectly family-friendly and had great amenities. We especially enjoyed the beautiful playground, which came with a postcard-worthy view. Truly a memorable experience—we’d love to come back again.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. I like the peacefulness. The location is a bit far from Markt, but it is close to the bus stop. The view was super! We booked the smallest room, and we got the one with a balcony, which is helpful for us as we were traveling with a child. I totally recommend this place.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. The location is the center of the city. Our room has view on the city square, church, mountain and the lake !! Also the host was very helpful and caring when my wife was feeling cold she provided extra heater to our room to make it extra warmer. It was a nice gesture, thank you !

And the location not in the middle of town so it was quieter but you could still walk there in about 5 minutes.
