You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. We loved our time in Dormio Resort Obertraun, the host was super-friendly, very well organized. The place was lovely, our kinds loved the pool area, with the view to the lake it was gorgeous. The small town crowded with the mountains was just like in a fairytale. Kitchen was enjoyable for kids too, with a nice wide selection possibilities from menu, prepared carefully. I am looking forward to come back again, in May or June, we planned the adventure for hiking, there was snow on the top at 5Fingers in April. Thank you for the unforgettable experience.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. The bed was really soft and comfortable, the room was very clean, everything as pictured in site. Staff were all exceptionally welcoming & polite. We are very happy with our stay here and would recommend to family & friends

The hotel staff Abhi assisted me in lending of the UK to Europe converter and advised on my transportation. George was the one who assisted me in getting to 5 fingers & skywalk. Without him, I wouldn't get my luggage up from 3rd level to the 4th as there was no elevator. Luka advised me on skywalk tour. These staff are the best I came across.

Apartment Hotel Seerose offers rooms and apartments in Obertraun in the heart of the Salzkammergut Region, a 1-minute walk from the shore of Lake Hallstatt and only 3 km away from the UNESCO-listed town of Hallstatt. Most convient self check-in. I chosed Obernaun over Halstatt "city". There is a bus 100m from the hotel straight to Hallstatt. The busstation is also the busstation for the lift to the saltmine. I came by train to Obernaun. From the station you can see the hotel...just follow the path paralle to the train rails. The best pitza..huge and beer at the restaurant 20 meters from the hotel. Nice warm fast meal after a day in Hallstatt. I took the boat once from Hallstatt to Obernaun...And back to Hallstatt. I did not know where I was. And a dayticket Obernbaun to Hallstatt Dec 2024 is 5.20€. Lovede the snow landscabe next to the saltmine And the skywalk ..view from above over Hallstatt and the lake. Had a warm meal at the restaurant next to the skywalk. Lovede the Christmas market (.it is not every day need to check what days)at Hallstatt Live concert from a balcon. I will come back and do the same things. And stay at the same hotel. With a good breakfast. Plan your breakfast with the departure of the bus to Hallstatt.
