Offering view to the Five fingers Viewing Platform, Haus Salzkammergut is located in Obertraun, 5 km from the centre of Hallstatt and 400 metres away from Lake Hallstatt and the beach. Free WiFi access is available and rooms come with a flat-screen smart TV. The property offers free parking. Breakfast was varied and very tasty, with a different homemade cake each day. There was a wide selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, and pastries. There is a dining room on site where you can sit in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea at no extra charge. The view from the room was simply breathtaking — the lake in all its glory, visible both from the window and from the huge balcony outside the room. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh, and there were also high-quality, pleasant soaps provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were extremely nice and friendly, attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and even helped us with local discounts. Don’t forget to ask for a guest card to get a discount on the Dachstein cable car.

You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. This is one of the best resorts that we visited . Friendly staff and super nice views . Definitely coming back here soon

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. I recently stayed at this hotel and had an amazing experience. The location was perfect for me, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony. It was lovely to sit out and take in the sights and sounds of the area. The staff at the hotel were also incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed. In fact, they were especially helpful in helping me find the bus to leave. I was impressed with their knowledge of the area and their willingness to assist me. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was unbeatable, the room was spacious and comfortable with a great view, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. The location is close to everything in Hallstatt and accesible from the ferry. They arranged for cutlery and glasses for ushering our Friend's birthday. Specklessly clean, super comfortable and lovely rooms with balcony and views.

Located in the car-free centre of the World Heritage town of Hallstatt in Upper Austria’s Salzkammergut region, the 4-star superior Seehotel Grüner Baum offers spacious rooms with panoramic views of Lake Hallstatt. The hotel met all our expectations and more than we expected. It is located in the very center of the town on the main square. The hotel cannot be reached by car, but the hotel shuttle runs from the parking lot. The entire hotel is furnished in an older traditional style. The hotel has a beautiful terrace next to the lake where you can have a drink or dine, which is a special experience. For breakfast there is a wide selection of food, and for dinner we chose from the menu and everything we tried was very tasty (especially the trout from the lake).

Renovated in 2015, this hotel in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region offers panoramic views of the scenic lake and the Dachstein Massif. It features a garden with a pool and offers free WiFi access. The place was really nice and the breakfast is perfect. It’s near by the train station and the harbor. There was a technical issue so we had no hot water for the first night but the hotel dealt with it really well and we got 50% discounts.
