Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. Very cozy atmosphere. Quiet and nice as we were expecting. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Renovated in 2015, this hotel in Obertraun on Lake Hallstatt in the Salzkammergut region offers panoramic views of the scenic lake and the Dachstein Massif. It features a garden with a pool and offers free WiFi access. Breakfast is really good. Good location near to the train station. The room is clean and cozy.

The Moserwirt features a rustic bar serving different cocktails and Austrian beer. The restaurant offers a delicious breakfast with a 4 course menu in the evening for hotel guests. I like that place and good service

Apartment Hotel Seerose offers rooms and apartments in Obertraun in the heart of the Salzkammergut Region, a 1-minute walk from the shore of Lake Hallstatt and only 3 km away from the UNESCO-listed town of Hallstatt. The apartment was spacious and very clean. In addition to that there was an amazing mountain view through both the balcony!
