The staff were so warm and welcoming after our long drive from Cafayate. They have excellent bottled wine at reception and also delicious empanadas. The large room has every convenience and comfortable bed. Also, a private terrace with table & chairs. The breakfast is extensive and delicious including the coffee! We liked the hotel so much that we returned early from Humahuaca to spend an extra night. I highly recommend this hotel in quiet San Lorenzo rather than Salta for anyone traveling up to see the Humahuaca sites.

Beautiful historical place. We had two different rooms for the 4 of us and one was super tight and the other was very comfortable. A bit pricier than other hotels in the area but nice colonial building if you want historical. Would recommend.

So far, the most beautifully curated hotel during our stay in Argentina. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to make use of the lush and luxurious back yard incl swimming pool. Staff was also super attentive and helpful. Extra bonus: 2 cuddly cats!
