Room was large and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was great and so were included high quality toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and body moisturizer). The pool bar was good and has a happy hour from 4-7 pm. Location was excellent. We found our favorite area by walking to seaport village for coffee and an amazing view of the bay. No hidden fees. Free water in lobby.

I stayed during the week at the Westin San Diego Gaslamp District, the venue of my conference. When I left the conference at noon on Friday I didn't have time to travel anywhere before the Jewish Sabbath. I contacted the Horton Grand Hotel, which was across the street from the synagogue where I prayed on Shabbos, and close to where I ate my Sabbath meals. I asked the Hotel for accommodations-- a ground floor room and assistance in getting in and out of my room without using an electronic key or carrying my key outside. My requests were satisfied completely. I was put in a ground floor room around the corner from the front Desk. The staff at the desk let me in to my room without waiting for me to ask. They were courteous and efficient. The room met all my needs.

This is a lovely place to stay. Old town is a very nice area that is close to the bus and tram system so that you can easily visit many other areas if you want. The hotel itself is very nice with all the amenities that you need, and very lovely people. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the pool , sunbeds were always available as well as towels . The common areas are well maintained and clean . The parking is close to the room . The area of the hotel is pretty safe and we also liked the possibility of walking around in the evening without issues
