This hotel was enchanting. The heated pool was perfect for families with kids. The breakfast was superb with plenty of diverse dishes. Highly recommend this hotel for the families with kids.

Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station.

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view, very nice big room and very nice breakfast. The indoor swimmingpool was great add but what stood up for me most was the kindness of the staff probably the nicest hotel staff I ever met especially the nice lady who came to the station and helped me with my luggage after I arrived big thank you and sorry I forgot your name. Will recommend the hotel to everyone I know it is the best place to relax.

The location was excellent. Just a few minutes walk from all the main bars and restaurants in Bled. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They even gave us an upgrade to a suite with no additional charges. The suite had amazing views of the lake, and equipped with a 65 inch TV not in hotel mode so one could enjoy streaming a movie from his own Netflix/HB/Amazon Account. Breakfast was amazing and although it was served (not self service), staff did not hesitate to bring us additional servings. Also, the hotel has free parking which was a big plus. Definitely would stay again if return to Bled anytime soon.

Villa Alice is an absolute gem near Lake Bled. The location is fantastic: within walking distance of the water, yet wonderfully peaceful. It's the first stop of our month-long holiday in Slovenia. And first the best, we enjoyed this excellent hotel! Everyone working here is extremely kind, helpful and professional: they have deep knowledge about the region and the country: tourist attractions, food and wine ect. We have an upgraded room which is spacy and very comfortable, yet quiet at an exclusive location. The small and boutique hotel own as well a Michelin restaurant, while their passion at quality food is also shared on breakfast table. The nearby town of Radovljica offers interesting tourist attractions and outstanding restaurants, while very close to Bled but away from the noisy and busy tourists. All in all, thank Vila Podvin for your excellent service!
