This is a fantastic ex-palace. The reception and main rooms are exquisite. You can use any of the main rooms any time, although the chairs being in keeping with the period are not that comfortable LOL. Great ambience. Excellent pool (getting a pool towel on the other hand more of a challenge!). Basic gym. Outstanding breakfast. Easy parking. Excellent staff. We loved our stay here (we stayed in a superior view room on the 2nd floor, with a terrace looking down to Faro (and a lot of grass). Yes, the building is VERY OLD which means that in a few places the paint is peeling etc. There was also some refurbishment work done in the reception (old chapel ) while we were there. This did nothing to detract from my enjoyment but if you worry about that sort of thing, don't stay.

Friendly staff. Clean and organised. Bar facility nice and compact especially for night caps. Great breakfast. Parking facility. Good swimming pool and area clean. Patios to front and rear of hotel. Hotel location on N125 with access to all routes.

Beautiful hotel. Looked newly refurbished. The room was a good size, very clean, everything you needed. Comfy bed too. Staff were lovely. Very friendly, efficient and professional. They were eager to help and came across as happy at work/family feel. Breakfast staff were very organised. The woman in charge was very effective and managed her staff with respect and had their respect. She also led by example. The food was incredible. I couldn't fault anything. The selection was incredible, including and excellent GF section. The chefs were out replenishing before anything ran low. The pool area was immaculate as was the pool and toilets. Someone was around to take orders too. The hotel is superb and we will return.

We stayed for a night, 2 adults and 2 kids. We had an interconnecting room which was great..we had an.early flight and we were so grateful that they accommodated an early check in. We enjoyed the pool and didn't have a problem getting a sunbed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Great hotel and would certainly return. Highly recommended.
