Everything was perfect, very nice staff and great facilities in the hotel. The reception was warmly welcomed by Paulo who helped us a lot by checking in during the rain. Dinner at Arcadas and breakfast were great. The garden has many spots to see especially the fountains. The heated indoor swimming pool and sauna are also nice. We had such a lovely stay here.

The house is charming - situated on a hill from which there is a beautiful walk down town. The staff was extremely helpful - we had a couple of friends joining us at the last minuete and i have made a mistake with the dates for one of the rooms but the owner was so nice about it and managed to give us an extra room which was even better at the same price!!! unbelievable hospitality! special thanks to Artur who recommended a very nice local authentic restaurant and gave us accurate instructions of how to get there - the food was "wow" the room was very specious the bad was very comfortable and the bathroom very large and very clean highly recommended - but don't go too often we want to have a place left for us....

This place is exceptional. It is undeserving of a one star rating, I have stayed in hotels all around the world and this exceeded my expectations for the price and the location. The rooms have been recently renovated, the staff are super helpful, the breakfast is very good and the hotel manager/owner is humble and attentive. I’m a female solo traveller so safety rates very high on my priority, the property is secure, it’s accessible by car for dropping off bags, the overnight parking is only a few minutes away and the rooms have everything you need for a short stay. I’ll stay again.
