It was great being able to cook and use the washing machine while backpacking but still have your own space. This is the perfect place to stay. We felt like we could chat with the other guests but had our privacy too. The instructions were very clear and the place is spotless.

The recently-renovated Meliá Ria is located in the heart of Aveiro, next door to the Aveiro Congress Centre. It features a restaurant, an indoor swimming pool and a spa and wellness centre.

I had a great experience at Melia Ria. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. I also appreciated the spacious parking area, which made everything much easier. The hotel’s location is perfect — peaceful, yet close to the city center and main attractions. Highly recommended!

The staff was lovely. We were welcomed by Jessica at check in and she was super helpful and friendly. We made use of room service and the staff was also very lovely and efficient. The room was spacious, the bed large and very comfortable, and the bath water powerful. The parking for the car was very convenient and worked very well as everything is within walking distance.

Amazing hostel. It's really pretty and modern with very comfy beds. Breakfast was really good. Very central. Close to town centre and bus stops to go to Costa nova. Staff was super helpful in dealing with problems and finding solutions as soon we spoke to them.
