I arrived in Arequipa on Monday afternoon (30 December 2024), and twisted my ankle 5 minutes into my Walking Tour. I did not get a chance to see any of Arequipa’s attractions or celebrate New Year’s Eve. I stayed indoors for 2 days to heal my swollen ankle. The team took care of me in the following ways: * Moved my luggage from my room on the 4th floor to Ground floor (because the lift was not working) * Gave me ice (for my swollen ankle) in the morning, afternoon and night every day from Monday until Thursday * Served breakfast in my room on Tuesday and Wednesday (it was so delicious!) * Helped me to call LATAM and Copa Airlines for me to change and confirm my flights (I was on hold for a long time on multiple attempts) * Advised me on which Tours to take (and arranged for Ruta del Sillar) and restaurants to go to based on my limited mobility My heartfelt appreciation to everyone who was on duty during my stay: Milagros, Fiorela, José, Lino, Enrique, Favian, Jhorly, Nadhia & Saly. They took good care of me and made me feel at home when I was traveling alone and so far away from home.

The rooms are beautiful. We stayed in the library room which was stunning. The location is great - a short walk from the centre. But what made our stay was the staff. Eddie and his team couldn’t have done more for us. They were great with recommendations, helping us with laundry and are just incredibly kind and welcoming. The best place we’ve stayed in South America. Couldn’t recommend it more.

The place is great and with a magical atmosphere, the rooms are spacious and quiet, the breakfast is incredibly good and people at the hotel really nice and helpful. The hotel is nicely located in the center where you can enjoy the city of Arequipa. We recommend this place and with children as well.

An absolutely beautiful hotel, walking distance to the Plaza de Armas. Nice garden with beautiful flowers, nice views, where ever you look! Extremely helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast, the restaurant had delicious Peruvian food! We loved it and would come back any time!

It’s old world charm in the city. A hacienda like set up. Plenty of space to open cases, wonder around the room and quiet at night to sleep. The staff are beyond sweet and helpful, all lovely lovely people. We actually left for a few days then came back because we felt so at home.
