We stayed one night at Designer Cottage in Christchurch and absolutely loved it. The period cottage was delightful, full of charm and character. Breakfast was excellent, and it was a real pleasure to meet our lovely and interesting hosts. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

The hotel is very well located in Christchurch and we were able to visit the city by foot from the hotel. The staff at the reception was vey welcoming and helpful. There was a valet option for the car that was at a very reasonable price, or the other option is the car park nearby. The room was very comfortable and clean.

This motel was absolutely spotless and perfectly located - just a short walk to lovely cafes and restaurants. The private parking courtyard was super convenient. But what really made our stay extraordinary was the host's exceptional kindness. When we had a minor car accident in Christchurch, they became our guardian angel - patiently guiding us through everything, offering warm support, and even driving us to the hospital and back. Their compassion turned a stressful situation into a bearable one. We can't thank them enough for their generosity. Highly recommend this wonderful accommodation!"
