It is exceptional value. You get snacks from 15:00-17:00, and you get a lovely dinner buffet from 18:00. It is not huge, but there are good options for everyone, with many salads to chose from, soup, a hot meal, water, coffee/tea. With the outrageous prices in restaurants in Norway, the fact that you get dinner included with your room, which is both plentiful, inviting and tasty, makes it phenomenal. And the breakfast is really great. I stay in many hotels throughout the year and while this is not the "best in Norway" it is quality, looks nice, plentiful, and tasty. If I bring my wife, she will love it too. There were great options for alternative milks and glutenfree choices. And as someone who drinks tea, this was probably one of the best tea selections in a hotel... Both tea bags and loose tea. That's 6* experience right there! The staff is really nice, service minded and this was an overall great experience. The bed is great too. This was my first stay in this hotel. I have tried several other hotels in the city. Next time I am in the city, this is where I will stay! Easy peasy choice for me!

The view is fantastic from this hotel. This is one of the highest buildings in the Stavanger area. I have been asked if I fear heights because they have booked me already in a room on the 18th floor. Of course I wanted that! Beautiful view and a comfortable, cozy room! Breakfast is another highlight, a great choice and, of course, with the view from 21st floor where the restaurant is located.

Buffet breakfast was good. Room was clean and spacious but one thing to note if you want a writing desk and all the other guff then this is not the hotel for you. Rooms are practical and for sleeping. Staff are out of this world as in Super Friendly and always happy to help.

The place is a bit remote and i arrived around 19:00 by uber after my helicopter flight to a platform that day got cancelled. The landlady offered to bring me to town to shop for dinner and breakfast and i was just in time to get some tins of beer (not sold in supermarkets after 20:00!), and some bread for breakfast. She also drove me to a good local Thai foodtruck where i ordered a great takeaway meal. The service and friendlyness of host Lillian was over and beyond! The house was magnificent, with view over a fjord where at that time the Heerema rig "Sleipnir" was anchored. There is a small boat dock at the house which the local people use to recover old lost crab cages and fishing nets from the bottom of the fjord. Sitting in the living room there is this glass wall looking over the beautiful fjord. There is a large kitchen with coffee machine, water boiler, microwave and normal oven and the sleeping rooms have their own bathroom. I was sharing the house with another stranded offshore worker but as his new flight was early in the morning i ended up having the living room to myself. A very nice unexpected stay, i had just searched for an affordable stay for the night waiting for my new flight from Stavanger heliport but i ended up in one of the nicest holiday resorts i could ever had imagined.

I had all the necessary facilities in the room: TV, a small fridge, shower gel/shampoo and conditioner. The room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel is very close to the Stavanger Airport which was one criteria when choosing it.
