We had a wonderful stay. La Villa Residences went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and looked after. Such wonderful touches that felt luxurious. Excellent service. We also had a day at the spa which had reasonable rates and was lovely.

Loved everything! Great breakfast with lots of fresh juices and fruits. Kayaking to the close by island is a much if you are able (~30min each way). Room is super comfortable and the whole hotel gives you a spa feeling

the properties have been brought in as examples of the type of traditional housing seen in Malaysia - so we stayed in Penang 1. landscaping is superbly done. the swimming pool is very long and beautiful. the staff are amazing. really friendly. great food served at restaurant - and brilliant cocktails - try the Vietnamese mojito. we never eat at hotel restaurants but did a few times here.

A small peaceful boutique hotel, highly recommended. Very nice, large apartments. Skip the big resorts, this is a far better and more cosy alternative. Close to the beach and close to several good restaurants along the road. Also a good restaurant almost in the same building as the hotel, which had in January 2024, laid-back acoustic live music of very high quality (an ecellent guitar player)
