In the heart of the ancient walled city of Salé, this historic riad has great views of Rabat and Kasbah Oudayas. Enjoy the sunset from the rooftop garden and lounge area. The rooms are beautiful, and the owner is very hospitable. I strongly recommend eating in at night at least once; the food is stellar! You won't regret it. And make time for a good Moroccan breakfast, too. A La Belle Étoile is centrally located, and easy to get to by taxi from Rabat Airport (use the small yellow taxis) or from Salé Train Station. The little shopping streets of Salé and the market, the beach with its fish market, and the Bouregreg Marina are all in easy walking distance, as is the tram into the central Rabat. You will find plenty to enjoy. I' prefervthis location to Rabat across the water. I'm definitely coming back.

The riad is very beautiful and an oasis within the medina. It is very easy to find within the medina and quite central to many sights. The room had all required amenities and the bathroom was spacious. Overall, the room was incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed my time there and was grateful for the incredibly helpful and kind staff.

The time spent at Riad Dar Karima made me regret not staying longer in Rabat. The structure is a quiet environment in the centre of the medina, and it shows a good balance between elegance and cosiness. The rooms and the bathrooms are big and perfectly clean, and the breakfast is recommended. Moreover the manager Siham is extremely helpful and friendly, I strongly recommend contacting her well before your arrival to receive recommendations on tours (which se can help you book), places and activities. Should I visit again Rabat I would definitively come back here.
