A wonderful way to end our vacation in Sri Lanka! We enjoyed the pool (clean water! good for splashing about and for laps!), rooms (tastefully decorated) and grounds (impeccably kept), breakfast (varied and tasty), and yoga (instructor was patient and well-informed). It seems every aspect was thought through with great care for guests' comfort and relaxation.

The Fortress is located along the beach, on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It offers spacious accommodation, an outdoor pool and 2 restaurants. Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free.

Massive property overlooking the beach. The room was huge with ample space. The staff were exceptional. Always smiling and happy to help. We felt so welcome. We had the breakfast buffet and the Sri Lankan options were top notch!

Turtle: Right in front of the hotel is a spot where you can swim with turtle... (Funny enough they are not shy and swim to you) Location: You are right ocean front and meters aways from night beach restaurants Staff: Including owner were super helpfull and welcoming Pool: The 25 x meters pool was quite a suprise... also a blessing to find it cristal clear (Which is not the case in other hotel we went during out trip) The wooden bungalow: were very charming and authentic,... with all the modern confort (Nice to have a good working AC after a day visiting. The food option: are limited, but good quality, normaly priced and available.

Great location close to Galle and Unawatuna town where there is lots to do and see. Lots of nice restaurants. Villa food, especially the breakfast, also great mind you! Room was massive, facilities great. Lovely to be able to sit with the sea a stones throw away. Staff very pleasant.

Had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Era Beach Hotel with my family. Great place to relax overlooking the gorgeous sea view. Situated in a convenient location & serene environment. We stayed in suite with sea view and loved the beautiful view from the balcony. Rooms were spacious and well cleaned. Hotel staff were very friendly & attentive. Gorgeous place with the best hosts. They were helpful and friendly at all times. Such delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Short journey to Galle fort so you’re not in the main tourist area which is great. Lots of animals to see on the property!
