The location of this property is magical. Amazing hotel in an amazing location. We travelled as a family with a 6mth old baby and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Bottles and baby cutlery etc washed every day and our baby was treated like royalty! The food is very good and very good value. We went half board which is recommended. The set menu in the evenings is good but may be a tad repetitive if staying more than 4/5 days or if you don't like fish or curry!! A special mention to Thejani in the restaurant, she was simply fantastic, helpful and made us feel so welcome, likewise with Samantha. Chamindi and the team at reception were always so helpful and welcoming.

Niyagama House is a peaceful retreat located on the highest point of an active tea plantation. It features 7 exquisite rooms with poster beds, a luxurious bathroom and free Wi-Fi.

My one-week stay at Niyagama House was fabulous with the high standards the facility offers, the green with all those bird sounds in the morning mesmerized me. It was also so relaxing for my body and soul doing meditation & yoga with Elke every day, nourishing myself with the great food from the restaurant. I am looking forward to visiting that 'paradise on earth' again.
