To be honest, it is hard to say that the room condition or service quality is equal or better than 5-star hotels. So if you expect perfection as a hotel, you may be slightly disappointed. The room condition is a bit old. However, the experience of staying here cannot be evaluated simply by the quality of the accommodation. It is the best. Here, you can feel the philosophy of Bawa that you should be immersed in nature. Great and very friendly staff in all departments of the hotel. The hotel’s very own naturalists are brilliant and are assisting with everything you need for a successful trip or excursion - water, juices, soft drinks and cool refreshing towels are always part of the service. We enjoyed the big pool for all hotel guests as well as our private pool next to the room which helped us to feel really relaxed. The hotel is a true sanctuary and we enjoyed the nature and natural sounds every second of our stay. A minimum 3 nights stay is highly recommended to have enough time to discover the historic places and the nature in this part of Sri Lanka as well as to relax on property (we stayed 4 nights).

The rooms were so big and comfortable, the staff attends to your needs making you feel pampered throughout your stay, my treatments were just amazing the doctor and therapist are so aware of what you need and they are so kind and attentive..The food when you eat feels so light and is totally tasty the presentation was so good.. I just couldn't wait long enough to take a picture before i ate it. There were peacocks everywhere, the yoga master is amazing.. My stay was unexpectedly amazing as it was a last minute stop this time but i will come again to stay longer as it was what i needed exactly..

This was our 4th visit to Wild Grass and once more it didn't disappoint. Loved everything! Wild Grass is absolutely stunning and so peaceful. The villas are very modern but sympathetic to the surroundings and so spacious. AC was very efficient. And the bathroom!!! Loved it, especially the outdoor shower. Since our last visit some of the villas now have pools overlooking the lake. I'm so glad we decided to go with one of these rooms. The staff and Mr Nimal all went out of their way to be helpful.
