We had an amazing time at Buckingham Place. Nick and his staff make sure that you feel welcome and comfortable during your whole stay. No matter what questions we had, the staff made sure to help us. In our case, they organized a day trip in Tangalle. The food is great for local as well as western cuisine. The menu changes every day. The pool area is very relaxing and the beach just in front of the hotel is quiet, big and very beautiful. One of the nicest and cleanest beaches we saw in Sri Lanka. The rooms are big and spacious. We slept very well in the comfortable beds. If you are staying at this hotel, you should also try a massage. The prices are fair and the massages are some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. Even after checking out, Nick told us to reach out to him if we have any problems during our travels accross Sri Lanka. We will definitly come back.

Great for 2 days disconnecting, surrounded by nature. The open air cabanas and rooms are amazing, especially the open shower, I saw 2 toucans chilling on my shower. Pool is great and there is plenty of space for sunbathing there when tired of the beach. Option to join a yoga class (morning and evening) or have a treatment at the spa as add-ons. Breakfast was good (mostly sri Lankan curry but some sweet options too)

Everything about the resort was really amazing. The hotel and rooms are beautifully designed, well maintained with clean spacious bathrooms and comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing. Very friendly staff, constantly checking to see if we were comfortable or in need of any assistance. Just One step outside the lush green garden you can find the perfect beach to spot sea turtles.

Outstanding host and staff made the holiday perfect. highly recommend.
