The hotel facilities are gorgeous - in and of itself the reception area is amazing and it only gets better! We used the jacuzzi (badly needed after 5 days of adventure in Wadi Rum and Petra) as well as the pool. There are other services available that we didn't use (gym, massage...) Oh-my-gosh, the breakfast. The choice was not only extensive, but really, really fresh. I saw that items were constantly being refreshed and replenished with fresh produce. It was one of the only hotels where I tried almost everything without fear of having a dodgy stomach... Our room (a corner suite on the 9th floor) was spacious and light filled. The view was a little lacking but not "bad". Natasha, Khaled and Adjam in Fuma were great. Professional service with a big smile :-) The Concierges on duty for our time there (25-28 Oct) were fantastic and gave great advice. The front desk staff on check-in and check-out couldn't have been more helpful.

The welcome at Intercontinental was excellent. Very helpful staff from the Doorman, Security, Bellhops to the Room service and housekeeping staff. Bilal especially deserves special mention for smooth and efficient check in. To us staff hospitality is more difficult to attain than hotel or room amenities of facilities.

We spent a pleasant time at the hotel and the employees were very kind and took care of all our requests, the room cleaning service was fast and we didn't have a problem, we loved the swimming pool, the sauna and the jacuzzi, the breakfast was delicious and we had lunch at the American restaurant and the Italian restaurant over the course of two days. Thanks to all the hotel staff for their Excellent service . We liked the privacy in the hotel because it is forbidden to take pictures in the pool area, the jacuzzi and the sauna service.
