The hotel is beautiful. We are hungry cyclists and loved the breakfast as we could fuel well :-). The staff are excellent, professional and helpful. We got a comp upgrade to lake view room which we appreciated HUGE amounts. We used the leisure facilities every day and they are top notch. The area is perfect as we got the ferry to the borromean islands and had good walks around town to eat out every night. It was a fantastic trip for my wife's milestone birthday. We would definitely go back. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.

Residence Maurice offers self-catering accommodation in a renovated villa of 1920. It is 200 metres from Stresa Train Station and 350 from the pier to the Borromean Islands.

Location next to the lake, luxurious feeling of the room and beautiful hotel, huge room and bathroom, comfortable bed. I really liked the pool pool, beach, beautiful garden, and the bar at the beach. The breakfast had huge variety and was delicious. We tried the restaurant for dinner, it was really good and the view to the lake was amazing. We also got an upgrade to a room with lake view, we were very happy about it.

Located between the mountains and the Borromean Gulf, Hotel Simplon is set in its own sub-tropical gardens, close to the centre of Baveno.

I was very impressed with cleanliness of this hotel. Everywhere: the hallways, rooms, washrooms, dining room... it was spotless and stafff was always cleaning, and vacuming and payed such attention to detail thoroughly cleaning all areas. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful especially Meta at the Baveno Simplon location was wonderful, so curteous, helpful and always attentive and smiling! Your swimming pool is excellent. very clean, well mantained, never overcrowded, towels were always available for guests even on cloudy, rainy days. And no young kids running around, screaming and splashing! I loved that!

Lovely boutique hotel in gorgeous location on Lake Maggiore. Loved the view of the lake from our lake-view suite. Suite was a very good value. Hotel rooms are bright, fresh, clean, and well-appointed. Comfortable beds. Air-conditioning worked great. The bathroom was large (for Europe) and very nicely done. Good lighting. Breakfast was good—all you would expect in a European continental breakfast. Eggs made any way you want upon request. Espresso drinks also made upon request. Hotel staff were gracious and helpful. Wonderful stay!
