The staff were incredible-I had read some previous reviews about the staff but could not believe how outstanding they all were. One person in particular who sticks in my memory is Alexander who works at the bar-he is a real asset to your hotel. The breakfast was also sublime

Residence Maurice offers self-catering accommodation in a renovated villa of 1920. It is 200 metres from Stresa Train Station and 350 from the pier to the Borromean Islands.

Location is very good in The middle of Stresa. Italian style of living, great! Appartmemt was clean and beatiful. We can really recommend.

Laveno was a very good choice for visiting Lake Maggiore: it’s peaceful and very convenient to discover the islands by boat. The decoration and the facilities of the hotel were very fine. Especially the food was delicious.

Our second time staying at the hotel Ancora. There is a wonderful art deco inspired elegance to the hotel, exemplified by the staff who complement the aesthetic with their manner and professionalism. It could be a model for the best boutique hotels to follow. The breakfast is superb by any standard, world class quality and a wonderful selection of food. The location is on the road next to Lake Maggiore (which is very convenient) and the staff will guide you with regard to parking options

Matteo on reception responded promptly to our questions before our stay. And on check in he gave us clear information about the room. He was so helpful and polite. He is certainly made our stay easy and stress free. The hotel itself is all that you could want. It’s clean, spacious and well located.

Offering a private beach and swimming pool, Hotel Splendid is set right on the lakeside, 5 minutes' walk from Baveno centre. It offers panoramic views across the mountains and Lake Maggiore.
