This hotel is a gem. Located right by the promenade in Ortigia and with two terraces and most rooms facing the water, Henry’s House is the perfect base from which to explore Ortigia and Siracusa. Compact in size, beautifully filed with local and run by the friendliest and most efficient staff, this is a place from which you won’t want to leave. The buffet breakfast was a cornucopia of excellent local fruit and fare, the cocktails were divine and every room comes with a fully included minibar. How often do you find all that under one roof?

We loved every minute of our stay. The breakfast is absolutely delicious, the staff are very kind, professional and helpful. Our beautifully decorated suite was a haven of comfort . I cannot reccomend the Algila Charme Hotel enough. If I could give it 1000 stars I would.

The service: staff at reception give us important info, they were kind and quickly took care of our car parking (we were super tired after a full day of visiting ancient greek temples in Agrigento). This place is beautiful!!! It’s located in a fairly quiet area right on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. We were able to snorkel right below our room. The view is breathtaking at every moment of the day. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and helpful - they go out of their way to help out. They felt like family. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We heard the ocean crashing all night, which was so peaceful. We had access to our own terrace and there was a little kitchen we could use on the days we didn’t want to go out to eat.

Super kind hotel team. Best breakfast in Sicily (You can order everything as you wish, including the ingredients of your smoothie) and the Spa has everything you need and great treatment around. There was even some whole wheat bread-ish croissant - which is actually not existing on that island. And it was one the lowest plastic places we have found (which is hard in Italy). Best healthy sleep included.
