We stayed in the completely refurbished room number 1 which was wonderful: great view onto the square and the restaurants. We just needed to walk out of the front door to be in the middle of it all. Great location and all the sites are easy to reach by foot. Very friendly and helpful staff. From the carpark at Piazzale Roma, we took the water taxi linea 2 which took us via the Canale Grande to the stop "Accademia". From there, it is about 1-2 minutes on foot to reach the hotel. All very easy.

The Aqua Palace exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we felt pampered. All the staff (front desk, bellhop, waitress) were warm and friendly. Our room was large with high ceiling and windows, and Venetian style furnishings, that overlooked the canal. Absolutely gorgeous view and room. We felt like we were in a Venetian castle. The breakfast buffet was delicious with an array of food options. They even served Prosecco! The hotel is perfectly situated - walking distance to St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. If we ever return to Venice, we will definitely stay at the Aqua Palace again.

The property well exceeded my expectations. Originally I booked it because of its historical value, and still it was more impressive in person than on photos. The staff were welcoming, the room was huge and well equipped with everything nécessaire - from teas to bathroom amenities.
