It was simply the cleanest place I have ever stayed, the room and bathroom were spotless and watching the staff wipe down a table in the resteraunt I can see why. We were lucky to be on the top floor and had a wonderful view from our room. The quirkiness of the decor was also very charming and days after arrival we were still noticing new details. All in all it was an excellent value for money.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had, with a wide range of options and served in a classic dining room. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, and we had good sized room with a very comfortable bed and an amazing large shower. We really appreciated having access to a kitchen with free coffee, tea, water, fruit and even cakes (!), the complimentary wine and cantucci. Staff were very friendly and helpful. An excellent base to explore Montepulciano from.

This wonderful place exceeded all our expectations. The location is excellent, with views of Montepulciano and breathtaking views over Tuscany. Lovely atmosphere and creatively decorated rooms, a beautiful natural pool We received a warm welcome, were looked after well and our children were made to feel at home. And we received great tips were to go in the neighbourhood. The dinner was delicious.

This place is amazing. Like visiting a palace, our sitting area in our huge room had a fireplace and hand painted ceiling from the 1700’s. The room also had a stunning view of the countryside and a large bathroom with a fantastic hot tub. But the real standout here was Frederica, she booked us dinners and organized a somewhat hard to find taxi when we left. Nothing was too much trouble. She is also very friendly and her English is good. She also organized a very good breakfast. If you are in town for a visit do yourself a favor and stay here!!
