Superb location, excellent suite of 55sqm with magnificent views from 2 sides of the corner room (202). Half board was excellent and wait staff in particular were very welcoming and helpful. Great location to explore Lago Maggiore.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Ancora. The location is excellent, close to everything we needed. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Lovely boutique hotel in gorgeous location on Lake Maggiore. Loved the view of the lake from our lake-view suite. Suite was a very good value. Hotel rooms are bright, fresh, clean, and well-appointed. Comfortable beds. Air-conditioning worked great. The bathroom was large (for Europe) and very nicely done. Good lighting. Breakfast was good—all you would expect in a European continental breakfast. Eggs made any way you want upon request. Espresso drinks also made upon request. Hotel staff were gracious and helpful. Wonderful stay!

The hotel has a lovely garden and terrace where you can sit and enjoy a drink or coffee. The pool is nice. In the restaurant, delicious food and high service are served. Breakfast is really good with a nice selection. But probably the best thing is that all the staff are so nice and friendly, which really makes the place a place worth recommending. We loved this place.
