We had a fantastic 3-night stay at the Junior Suite of Madri Haveli. The room was lovely - it was not only spacious and comfortable but also visually stunning, with its 300-year charms restored in pristine fashion. Amenities-wise, everything was as advertised - toiletries were well stocked and hot water was provided at the allotted times (although it may take a while for the water to heat up outside those hours). The rooftop bar / restaurant also offers a great 360-degree view of old Udaipur, and the food was nice too. We especially enjoyed the poha and the pancakes! We are especially thankful for the hospitality shown by manager Sunil, who went out of his way to not only plan and arrange our day trips but also share with us the heritage of Udaipur and beyond. Sunil's team was also ever ready to respond to our requests, especially Surajman. We owe Sunil and his team a great deal for making our stay a thoroughly pleasant one, and we look forward to returning!

The decor, attention to detail, personalized service, the entertainment, spa services and food. I had a personal butler, Ashkaj who was excellent - well spoken, knowledgeable, well mannered and respectful.
