We loved everything about our stay…the location right in the Center of Udaipur means most things are walkable (a rarity in India!). The property itself is >300 yrs old and full of character, sensational lighting, colours, and above all wonderful staff members…breakfast and dinner is excellent, and their smile goes a long way. GM Sunil is very chatty, and kindly showed us around his recently opened 2nd property Madri Haveli Retreat (right next door)…he also let us use the pool to cool down from the afternoon heat, which we appreciated a lot. Come and stay here, you will not be disappointed, splash out on the suite, you won’t regret it, it’s stunning at every time of the day. Thanks for the stay, for the anniversary cake and the kindness throughout.

The location of the hotel is amazing! You take a boat with a beautiful view and come to the hotel. The way they are greeting you upon arrival is unforgettable! The rooms are so spacious and luxurious! There is a very beautiful swimming pool with a gorgeous view on the lake! I had an opportunity to do a massage in the hotel and it was one of the best deep oil massages in my life! I would recommend to go to Kimkimi for a strong good quality massage! It is very comfortable that each guest has his own butler who is available all the time. I was lucky to have such a wonderful smiling, professional butler Foustinus! She assisted with all my requests! I would definitely recommend everyone coming to this hotel when visiting Udaipur! And I was lucky as well to have a local professional guide Mitesh who showed me the city from insight, told me so many stories of how locals live, showed me a ceramic market and how locals do pottery! The location is very central with a great view of the palace in the lake, the rooms are very awesome, spacious and really groovy. The staff were exceptional, always extremely helpful and rather than give directions they would show us where to go. My friend and I loved the place. Great restaurant on the top. Great service up there as well.

Beautiful haveli, such a peaceful and quiet place with an amazing 360 view from the rooftop. Nice swimming pool and garden. We had a great dinner with Rajasthani specialties.
