Taj City Center is one of the best property in New Town Area. The best of this hotel is the hospitality offered to you is superb. No one can beat Taj's hospitality as they will spoil you with services and personal care. We stayed 5 days there and we felt like home away from our home. Special mention to Mr. Sanjay from the room service who is the best to take care of all your needs. The breakfast is good with choice of Indian and continental choices. In overall one of the best hotel I have stayed so far.

The Hotel and All the Staff made us feel like at home. And cared for us very well...surpassing all expectations.The staff at the Restaurent( YA YA VAR), The housekeeping staff, the Front Desk staff...and everyone have cared for us, especially towards our twin daughters, and made every possible attempt to bring a smile into our toddler twins faces.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Taj Bengal. Everything was just perfect. The room was very carefully and tastefully decorated, featuring a comfortable bed and a practical, elegant office table. The bathroom was equipped with a bathtub, and toiletries were available for free use. Breakfast was included and served in a medium-sized wing of the hotel next to the pool. The breakfast selection was rich and tasty. The staff, too, did a marvelous job, and I cannot remember all the names of the staff who did something extra for me. The most impressive moment I experienced at this hotel was on the second day, when I found a handwritten welcome letter on the bed. For me, it is clear that I will definitely come back to this hotel, preferring it to other establishments.

This is the third time I stayed at The Sonnet in the last 4 years. Clearly, I like the place. I do not have that much to add to what I wrote in the previous cases. The Sonnet provides excellent value for money. This is not a 5 star facility but the facilities provided are quite adequate. The last time I was there the place was undergoing renovations. But they seem to have been completed. The swimming pool is open and so is the gym. The rooms are decently sized. My room (501) had a very comfortable double bed, a sofa and a large desk, which was excellent for working. The bathroom is not huge but adequate and the water pressure is great. The breakfast buffet (now served again in the ground floor restaurant following renovations) is quite decent from my perspective; it contains most things most people want. The location right next to City Centre Mall is great and there is ample parking right in front. The staff as in pretty much every place I have stayed at were extremely friendly. I ordered room service one night and the focaccia bread chicken sandwich was a very large serving! To put this in context, during this trip I stayed at three different places n Kolkata, Raakjutir (close to Hyatt Regency), the Westin in Newtown and The Sonnet.
