Out of four different hotels ( Cabane, Jannata, Kayon Jungle Resort and Candi beach) in Bali, the Cabane was the one we liked the most. The place is simply charming with its bungalows and its pool surrounded by vegetation; its name "la cabane" really fits the place and its atmosphere. La cabane has a small restaurant with a card comparatively small to the others, but we actually had our best Mi Goreng there! If you need additional services (Spa, additional restaurants, private beach and the pools), you can also enjoy those offered by the BiuBiu resort next door, while staying at the Cabane. All in all we really recommand the place.

The Temple Hill Residences had a driveway all the way up to our booked villa. We were greeted warmly by the staff who then assisted us to check in at the villa itself. We booked a 2 bedroom villa and was very pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a 3 bedroom villa with a much larger swimming pool. We love everything about the villa. We could see the sea from the upper floor terrace. All amenities were provided and the living room, bedrooms and dining area were very cosy. Unfortunately it rained on our first morning and we were served breakfast at the indoor breakfast bar. However for all the subsequent mornings, breakfast was served at the dining area right next to the pool. It was so relaxing and peaceful to eat by the pool. Breakfast was fantastic. The choices of breakfast were sent to us before arrival and we tried all the different varieties from American, Continental, Healthy and Indonesian. We were impressed with all the choices. We also had massage from the residence. The massage can be done in the bedrooms or by the pool. Very professional masseurs- highly recommended and cheaper than spa outside. We want to mention Oka who made our stay really special. She was always friendly and cheerful when she helped us with breakfast and she would give us good recommendations of where to eat and what food to try. This was our first time staying in a villa in Bali and Temple Hill Residences gave us an excellent impression. Highly recommended.

We loved everything from the moment we checked in and had our welcome drink. The Villa's have just been fully refurbished and and the design so beautiful ,absolutely perfect. The staff are so happy and helpful a pleasure to deal with nothing was a problem. Breakfast in our Villa was really good not to mention the Barrista made coffee that you enjoy have anytime which is complinentary. The all day food was very good especially the Indonesian specails and Ahimsa Burger. The location is perfect, so quite and serene like Bali should be. If you want to go to the hustle and bussle you can get there by the car in 15 mins . You can walk to the Jimbaran beach in a couple of minutes. And the Ahimsa has lounge chairs and umbellas on the beach that are reserved for there guests. Dont miss the sunsets on beach which are outstanding as are the Seafood restaurants that are only a few 100 meters walk. The Ahimsa staff recommended one which was great. We really loved our stay and have already booked again in September. Can't wait.

The Open House is just that, off the busy open traffic into a delightful small tranquil reserve. Open arms welcome you warmly along with an enthusiastic highland terrier waggling tail, a great hit with the children. Effortlessly the concierge service relieves in of their luggage to the rooms, completes the registration process whilst being served refreshments at their open space beautifully designed Balinese style restaurant with open kitchen overlooking the pool. This is the central hub of the courtyard . Lined in one side by lush local flora upon which the rooms either open on the ground floor or their balconies face, the restaurant at the head and at the end the open library, massage and wellness spa pavilion. The rooms are spacious well lit, studio style, dimly yet tastefully furnished in the Balinese style. Great shower, great air con albeit too. The kitchen had a fixed a la carte menu, that was deliciously flexible to cater to the nutritional needs of fussy little eaters, and even my coeliac gluten free wife. The staff, and of course the proprietor, seen watering or clipping the jungle garden, are amazingly friendly and helpful with all aspects of one’s stay but advice on local sites. Jimbaran beach and multitude of restaurants are 100m from the door. The fish market, a highlight of our holiday simply awesome at 0700 when the small traditional boats come in with their catch. Checking out, simple, sad goodbyes after two final nights on Bali with the hotel organised car to the airport that took 15mins at 15Euros added to the bill. Great value.
