Boutique Hotels in Pécs

Bogolyvar Fogado is a very unique hotel in the world. It is located on top of a hill with spectaclar views. The hotel has been designed with love, imagination and care. The rooms and the entire hotel is decorated with traditional embroideries, beautiful poterry and antique photographs of Pecs. The hotel has a lovely dining room with a wide variety of delicious and home-made delicacies, including homemade cheese and marmalades. There is also a very large seperate restaurant with beautiful architectural designs. I arrived on New Yearr´s Eve and almost everything was closed but the owner´s son gave me a delicious complimentary salad. They were also very nice in upgrading my room from a single to a double room. The new room was very spacious, had a bathtub and also had beautiful emboideries on the wall. It was like staying in a museum and helped me learn and appreciate how talented and artistic is Hungarian culture. There is a bus at the bottom of the hill that takes you into town. However, the walk is lovely and it is next to a beautiful historical park. The owner´s mother was very sweet and kind to me and also recommended the porcelain museumss which were the best museums I visited. I enjoyed my stay in Pecs and highly recommend both the hotel and the city to anyone wanting to visit Hungary. The only recommendation I make to the hotel is as a vegetarian, I would have eaten more regularly at their restaurant had there been some more salad or vegetable dishes. Other than that, I think Pension Bogolyvar Fogado is an outstanding place to stay.

The staff were welcoming and kind. The location for those who know Pécs is excellent. It is close to the Arkad shopping center which is useful for any eventuality and has a mini market opposite that is cheap and open until 10 pm. A rare thing in Eastern Europe The room was comfortable and quite large with a bathroom that was accessible even to people with motor disabilities.

Location is very good. It is approximately 150 meters from the start of the cities inner center. The breakfast is extremely good, I have been to hotels with 4 stars in Europe (Vienna, Budapest for example), but the breakfast in Corso with 4 stars is the best.

The stuff is very friend and accommodating

A nice small hotel minutes from the main central square in Pecs. Parking was a bonus and at very little cost. The room was small but clean and tidy. Breakfast was good and staff friendly. We were allowed an early check- in which was much appreciated.

Just got what we wanted. A decent place in a good location for a decent price.

Perfect apartment, with spacious beds, modern furniture, and huge variety of content inside. Private parking lot is also comes in handy.
