Nick is a great host and a wonderful person, we spent a week in Porto Enetiko Suites, the room was super clean, the view from the balcony it’s spectacular! Nick welcomed us when we arrived and he answered to every questions we had before our arrival and also during our stay. I would recommend this fantastic place to whoever visits Rethymno! Our 3-night stay at Pepi Boutique Hotel was dreamy and unforgettable. Housed in a historic building—one of the first mixed boys and girls Primary School in Crete—it has been lovingly transformed by the owners into a stylish and charming boutique hotel, blending Venetian architecture with modern comforts. The staff’s kindness was exceptional. Despite a hot water issue in our suite, they provided access to a neighbouring room and refunded one night’s stay as an apology. Elefteria, the lovely receptionist, was beyond helpful, making us feel truly cared for. The young manager/owner made us feel truly special and welcomed, and we would like to thank him for that. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, locally sourced dishes tailored to our low-carb diet—don’t miss the poached eggs with smoked salmon or the Cretan omelette. Enjoying breakfast in the lush courtyard surrounded by historic walls and exotic plants was pure bliss. Our suite was comfortable, featuring antique stone walls, large windows overlooking the garden and pool, and a unique wooden platform bed. The hotel is filled with thoughtful details, like a vintage Singer sewing machine next to a modern iMac, a beautiful wine cellar, and a selection of books to enjoy. Meeting the founder, who named the hotel after his wife, added a personal and touching connection to our stay. Pepi Boutique Hotel is a perfect blend of history, culture, and hospitality, and we are already planning to return! We left Pepi Boutique Hotel with full hearts and are already planning our return. It is a place where history and hospitality come together to create memories that linger long after departure. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly special stay in Rethymno!

One of the most beautiful hotels in Greece. It was like living in a small palace!! Upon arrival they gave us an upgrade to a junior suite. The receptionist Nikos and Stelios were always there to solve all your problems and suggest places to visit or restaurants! The breakfast was amazing. The hotel has everything you need and its in the center of the old town. The car parking ( with an extra fee) makes your holiday easier!! We will surely go back there again sometime!!
