The property is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast was comprehensive and, when the sun was out, the outside deck with its expansive view across the valley was a brilliant way to start the day. Very comfortable break -out spaces prove plenty of options to read, diarise, have a coffee etc. The staff are very knowledgeable and helped us best explore the area. Make sure to pack your walking shoes.

On the pristine Papigo, with a spectacular view of the Vikos Gorge, Mikro Papigo 1700 is amphitheatrically built as a small private settlement of 15 rooms and suites.

The place is highly recommended: we had a cozy room in the traditional but well-renovated house of Dilofo village, with a comfy bed, a fireplace, fully equipped, great breakfasts, and a bunch of useful tips from the host (Marios was attentive and helpful, whether we needed to plan our route for the day trip, book a place for dinner or light a fireplace for us, etc.). Won't even be looking for other places to stay in Zagori — we'll definitely come back to 'Aithrio' to experience the spring-summer season in the region!
