It is located out of the busy village of Oban. It is a tranquil haven with lovely views of rolling hills. It is a short drive into town . The accommodation is clean, modern and extremely comfortable. Bed was extremely comfortable too. Carol, our host went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was beautifully presented with lots of variety. Bobby also gave us some great tips for our next stop which we later enjoyed. Oban itself is very busy and parking is difficult and metered. After 6 pm it is free so that’s the time to head into town for a meal.

Such a beautifully appointed place to stay, with wonderful old paintings everywhere and a reading room with a grand piano. Our room was so cozy and beautiful! The shower was excellent. The tea selection was wonderful and they even had oat milk! Wonderful location, just a few minutes walk up to the hill to McCaig’s Tower and just a few minutes walk down the hill to the harbor and lots of bars and restaurants. Alec (sp?) was a lovely host.
