Excellent location near to the main shopping street, Market Street. The accommodation was spotless and the staff were very helpful, in particular, Rachel, who gave us good recommendations for eating out.

it was comfortable and attractive in a country pub sort of way. One important factor was the pub had useful areas where people could sit and enjoy a drink and chat. The receptionists were happy to carry our luggage to the room.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. It must have been a busy weekend for them with several events on in the city but they were always happy to not just help, but also chat. Brought scissors to the room when I needed to cut some tags off clothes, happily fixed our key cards for us, etc. Just brilliant. Room was comfy and clean, and bathroom was lovely. Desk with lamp and TV were a nice touch. Floor to ceiling window with loads of natural light and all the amenities you could need - kettle, tea and coffee, iron, etc. Thought it was great value for the location and the level of comfort. Didn't use the gym or restaurant and didn't get breakfast so can't comment on that.
