My daughter visited with her friend and it was there first trip away from home. They felt safe and secure in the accommodation, reception stagv were v helpful and had great craic with them. Food was great, they enjoyed their stay and location was spot on.

The Chester Hotel is a listed building dating from the 19th century, combining original design with striking, contemporary features.

Great location, comfortable big room, super clean, friendly staff! They don’t mention it on booking, there is a 24/7 car park conveniently located next to the hotel, so super easy if you have a car!

Great location and parking was in public car park but with covered walkway to hotel via train station- an easy walk . Attached to shopping mall - always a bonus .Bit of a problem with first booked in but with Rachel and front desk reorganising was soon put right . Fabulous view out of our room which was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

The staff are exceptional. I dealt with several of them over my time at Siberia and, without exception, they knew their jobs excellently and were particularly gracious and efficient. The location is also superb, right in the centre of town. The price is particularly good value; the room is tiny, which is reasonable bearing in mind the price, but it is also particularly well designed, so I felt much less squashed than I have often felt in larger rooms. The breakfast was also fine for the price.

A country house hotel 10 minutes’ drive from Aberdeen city centre, Macdonald Norwood Hall features log fires, wooded grounds and secluded gardens. It serves award-winning cuisine and afternoon tea.
