Everything. Jerome was very attentive and helpful with advice. He also looked after us with enjoying and appetising breakfasts. An added bonus was that one of the guest house dogs knows the mountains very well and is always keen to explore them once again. Jerome is very happy to offer a "borrow my doggy" service to competent hill walkers who stay at the guest house. Fellow, that is the dog's name, even has a GPS tag on him, so that is a useful safety feature for those out walking with Fellow for the day. Fellow looks after himself, whilst keeping an eye on you at all times, and he is better at hiking, and even scrambling, than you will ever be. :-)

Easy access for Grenoble and parking behind closed gates. Rooms very pleasant and areas with plenty of places to sit. Exceptional service from the reception staff, it was a bank holiday and Phillippe tried to find us a restaurant that was open. There were none nearby and so it was suggested that we order in some food. We agreed and on arriving in reception were pleasantly surprised to find a table set for us and then the food was prepared and brought out when we were ready.

The building was charming, and my apartment was huge and nicely decorated. To my surprise, there was even a piano in it! Lovely view towards the Vercors plateau. Good facilities for a longer stay, including (mostly) well equipped kitchen & access to washing machines downstairs. Excellent air conditioning, which was a relief during the heatwave. Plenty of parking space in the area. Great environment for hiking on the hills behind Poya park, easy tram connection to central Grenoble, and short distance to a massive supermarket for all shopping needs.

Le Mokca located in the Rhone-Alps region a 5-minute drive from the centre of Grenoble and close to ski slopes. It offers mountain-view rooms, a bar and secure on-site parking.

The most professional staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. I booked this hotel last minute and did not double check the check-in times. The hotel desk closed at 8pm and we were scheduled to arrive at 10:30pm. The clerk (Mr. Tarik) tried to contact us several times by phone, but we did not answer. Nevertheless, he stood at the desk until our arrival and made sure that we had no problems after our long journey, despite our mistake of not reading the hotel's schedule. And this is something I have never seen before. It is a very affordable and very well kept hotel, with comfortable beds, clean rooms and bathrooms, basic needs covered, plenty of parking, very good breakfast and excellent staff! I highly recommend this place.
