The breakfast was good, although it offered only a limited variety of food. The middle aged lady at the reception was warm and welcoming despite that she didn’t speak any English.

The property is extremely close to the Colmar train station The host lady (regret i did not take her name) is a wonderful human being. We as a family reached almost 10.30pm & in spite of the property being only a breakfast restaurant; she was benevolent enough to make some instant dinner for all four of us. Marvelous human being.

The staff at Le Colombier is exceptional. We received a warm welcome and our request for a top floor room was honored. The hotel and rooms are very clean, well-kept and modernized, but still retain the old-world Alsacien charm that defines Colmar. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great séjour. Breakfast was great and included a variety of options. I would definitely recommend Le Colombier and would be happy to stay here again.
