Magnifique! The property is very beautiful, well maintained and clean. The proprietor was very helpful and gave lots of recommendations. The room is very spacious, comfortable and well decorated, with mini fridge, coffee maker and more. The swimming pool was great for refreshing in the summer. The location is excellent, very close to the fortified city and the main sights.

The jacuzzi on the terrace was a real plus to have in the cold winter after all that walking in town. It's long enough for a couple to stretch their legs completely. We received clementines and cannelé in our room upon arrival too. At first we thought that breakfast was a bit expensive, but it turns out that it really was very copious (we didn't realise you could choose not to check several boxes, so we checked them all...). So just be careful of this if you order in-room breakfast and don't want to waste food! The bread basket is massive!

Located in Carcassonne, this B&B is just a 5-minute walk to the fortified town and a 20-minute walk to the fortified citadel.

Catherine is wonderfully nice and welcoming. She is extremely friendly and helpful if you need any advices or recommendations about visits and activities in the area. Catherine's house is very cozy and pretty, and all areas are clean. There is also a terrace on the roof with an overwhelming view of Carcassonne's castle. The room and the bathroom were clean, big and tastefully furnished. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with homemade pancakes and marmelades. The building is located in a strategic spot, around 15 minutes walking distance from both the city center and the castle. Recommended!

We absolutely loved the perfect location, romantic atmosphere and outstanding service... Initially, we stayed for 5 days, but cancelled our next location in favor of this one :-).

We loved this hotel and it is such good value for money. We stayed with our teenage son and two dogs and the room with the extra single bed was a perfect size. It had direct access to the garden which was so helpful with the dogs, morning and evening. We walked to the citadel which took us only 5 minutes. We could go back and forth to the hotel which made it all so easy, especially when our old dog needed rest. We had dinner in the restaurant that evening which was really superb. €30 for three courses. The highlight was creating your own salad of 5 items with a little pick and choose form for starters. Lemon meringue tart for dessert also! Such lovely serving staff topped it off. I highly recommend this hotel if staying in Carcassonne. A lovely pool, outdoor restaurant and terrace, reasonable breakfast and so close to the citadel.

Everything was excellent from the staff and lovely young lady who cleaned the room. Nothing was too much trouble and happy to book taxis and general local information. Excellent location just outside the city walls
