I had a wonderful experience at Rio Hortega Hotel. The staff was welcoming, and the check-in process was seamless. My room was spacious, spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The modern amenities, including fast Wi-Fi and a well-equipped bathroom, were great. The location was peaceful and convenient to get to with enough food options, and I loved the on-site restaurant which boasts good wine and meal options. Overall, it was a perfect blend of comfort and service. Highly recommend, and I look forward to returning!

The hotel is located close to the A62 motorway and is easy to find. It is modern and clean with professional and polite staff. The room seemed well soundproofed and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower cubicle. There was a good choice on the breakfast buffet and in addition we were offered an omelette cooked to order or eggs and bacon. There is an underground secure carpark with ample wide spaces and easy entry and exit. Whilst there wasn't a restaurant in the hotel for an evening meal there are bars and restaurants close by. Overall, an excellent hotel for an overnight stay when travelling down through Spain.

This former 12th-century abbey was restored using materials from other Medieval buildings nearby.

the staff were excellent, the hotel has been tastefully decorated and has charm! great stop for overnight stay between Portugal and the Santander Ferry! Not expensive and close to the main road, lovely gardens !! clean and lovely !! We will be back

The hotel is really nice, staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We loved the children’s corner, and the pool was very nice. Hotel is close to the science museum, and not very far from the old town. When travelling with kids, make sure you go to Parque Campo Grande, it is a super playground!

NH Valladolid Balago is just a 10-minute walk from the main square and Valladolid city centre. All rooms are bright, with an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi.

Booked the junior suite and it was very spacious and comfortable, with a huge bed and a very good mattress. We needed a good night's sleep and it really delivered. Overall a super nice hotel, friendly staff, didn't try the restaurant but it seemed nice also. Good location, next to a beautiful park where we could walk our dog, very quiet. Would definitely stay again!
