Excellent hotel! We stayed at three luxury hotels in Cairo during this stay and WA by far exceeded our expectations and was the most comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was very quiet and nice. The hotel has everywhere diffusers so it smells very good in the hallways. The staff were super nice. Especially Mr. Rezk who explained everything during our stay and Chef Hamy handi who cooked a nice asian meal for us. We can recommend this hotel 100%

I loved it it’s a large resort I dont know why it says that it’s a hotel it was so clean and the property was amazing it has a really big pool and many restaurants each restaurant is better than the other and it has a bowling ally , cafés , 8 ball table , cinema’s.. it’s just perfect if I ever go back to Egypt I’m definitely gonna stay in it again

We loved the customer service lady she was so helpful, the welcome we received when we get out from the taxi we loved their smile and always asking if we needed help anytime we are talking to them. I loved this hotel but it's ruined me for other hotels in Egypt! I mean, it has everything -- nice staff, helpful at every turn without being intrusive. Nice rooms, with lovely beds/pillows and cleaned daily. Bathroom was big and shower was wonderful. We didn't order room service, but we did eat on site once and it was a nice experience, with prices I thought were reasonable, along with good options. The area around the hotel is also very nice to walk around. There is a park, the Nile, and plenty of shops and restaurants and book stores.

Sofitel El Gezirah is a 5-star luxury hotel with a private promenade along the Nile.
