During our three-night stay in the family room, we were particularly impressed by its functional layout. The spacious room included two bunk beds, a double bed split across two separate sectors, and a well-equipped private bathroom, which proved ideal for ensuring both privacy and family togetherness. One of the standout features was the hotel’s lounge, complete with a cozy fireplace and adjacent bar. Located a stone’s throw from the family rooms, it allowed parents a peaceful retreat while the children slept securely nearby. Although the family room lacked its direct sitting area, the close by lounge filled that gap exquisitely, especially during the colder months when the warmth of the fireplace enhanced the ambiance. Outdoor amenities at the hotel included a picturesque terrace and a sitting area, though the utilization of some parts seemed unclear. Inside, the hotel boasted excellent spa facilities including a sauna, infrared sauna, and a relaxation space that was never crowded, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. Culinary experiences were notable for their environmental consideration. The breakfast buffet was an absolute delight with a focus on sustainability, offering plastic-free dining and homemade-style foods ranging from jams to egg salads that delighted our taste buds. While we didn’t experience the dinner service, ample nearby dining options provided easy alternatives. For the active guests, proximity to mountain biking trails and lift access was an added benefit. The hotel also offers secure bike storage, evidencing their thoughtfulness towards outdoor enthusiasts. Bockwiese is a beautiful place, and many rooms offer good view over the village. Beds are comfortable and rooms are very clean and well-maintained. The staff was kind and communicative. This is one of the few places in the area offering a half-board, which is convenient for families.

Quiet neighborhood, easy access, very clean, flexible check in. Staff was very friendly and helped us out when we locked ourselves out mistakenly.
