This has got to be the most centrally located hotel in Baden Baden...which can often translate into traffic and parking problems. We drove there this time and were delighted to discover how easy it was reach the hotel and park our car. We were parked, checked in and relaxing in our room within minutes...not always the case in Baden Baden. Our entire experience at the Merkur was exquisite.

Close to the centre, very! friendly♥️ staff, which is rare for Baden-Baden. The hotel's breakfast restaurant is superb, exquisite. I booked the cheapest room and was upgraded free of charge upon check-in. Me and my child were put in a room about 30 metres in size.

I liked the room which was spacious and very elegant. Breakfast was very good and it offered a verity of things. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel even though not very near the center was nice and near the forest.

Spacious well appointed modern room, and the hotel was located in a quiet suburb. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our dog was welcomed and there were areas in which to walk her. Breakfast buffet was very good and we enjoyed our evening meal at Bistro Henri, though the choice was limited. Convenient on site parking and easy access from the motorway; it was also convenient for a charging stop next morning at the Tesla supercharger near Achern. The hotel has one EV charger on site.
