We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and dining at their restaurant, and we must say it was an outstanding experience. The hotel itself was beautifully designed, Alpen-style, with comfortable rooms that made us feel right at home. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The restaurant, in particular, left me speechless. The culinary creations that came out of their kitchen were nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared with the finest ingredients, and the flavors were simply divine. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The level of service provided by the staff was truly exceptional. The restaurant manager and he’s assistant are doing an excellent and great job. We are definitely looking forward to come back!!! Thank you guys for everything!!! Well done !!

I loved everything about being here, from the location to the staff to the room itself. I found it very hard to leave! I had everything I needed and was comfortable, warm and within walking distance to just about everything. The staff were fantastic, helping when I needed to check in and let me sit with a hot chocolate while I waited for a train after I checked out. I would recommend to anyone thinking about coming to Engelberg or anyone who just wants a quiet weekend in the mountains.

This hotel is located in the centre of Engelberg, next to the train station and a bus stop. It offers free WiFi and a rich buffet breakfast.

Such a wonderful hotel. Gorgeous rooms, delicious food, and the owner (Simon) was so friendly and kindly helped my husband and I set up our ski touring equipment in his downstairs workshop and even gave us tips on ski touring because he is an incredible athlete! We so appreciated all the attention to detail at his fabulous hotel - highly recommend.

We arrived after check-in hours and the staff were very nice and helpful. Since we arrived after the restaurant was close, they made us sandwiches a and salads. The room was great also and the views were good.

This was such a beautiful surprise. Haven’t enjoyed staying at a hotel in a loooong time. The ladies who run the place are super warm and welcoming. They host all guests for an Apero in the evening (maybe was a Xmas thing, but I loved it a lot) the room is spacious, clean, warm, nicely furnished, has coffee and tea facilities and a minibar. Comfy bed and a couch to lounge on. The dinner at the hotel was spectacular. Very meticulously curated 3 course dinner and the lady chef put all her love and creativity into the dishes. One massive plus: they arranged a welcome corner for my dog with a bed and two bowls.

Built in 1907 and completely renovated in 2012, Wetterhorn Apartments is located in a traditional house in Hasliberg. It offers free WiFi, free parking, and views of the mountains.
