A true 5-star hotel! (with a stamp) Without a doubt the best hotel in the area. Managed with care for every little detail, with a dedicated staff ready to help with anything. Clean and well-equipped rooms with mountain views, a varied spa and a breakfast that is one of the rarest you will find (recommend the legendary avocado toast). Since we are vegetarians, we enjoyed a varied evening menu at the hotel restaurant, I recommend the pastas and salads. The portions are large and the prices are definitely good. The hotel has another luxury restaurant next door, the ''Leonardo''. If you have a fireplace in your room, don't miss having it lit by the hotel, it's an unforgettable experience of the smell of good wood and amazing warmth in the room - for those who come during the snow season. Special thanks to the amazing hotel owner who takes care of every detail and runs the hotel professionally. Booking - please raise the hotel to 9.5, it deserves every star.

Everything. The hosts attitude towards every detail is top level! The beds were very comfortable.

The Djangal is situated in peaceful surroundings next to a mountain creek and on a pedestrian street, 500 metres from the centre of Bansko and 800 metres from the ski lift.

We loved this holiday so much we booked the same room again for our annual ski holiday. The location was excellent (perfect balance between old town and the gondola for the mountain), the hosts were better than we could have hoped for in every way, the views of the mountains was incredible and the place was very well built and maintained.

Excellent, the SPA masseuse Kamelia was so kind and positive. The manager Tania, Rosi the receptionist were very kind and positive. I would rate all of them with 10.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the friendly and attentive staff who made sure every detail was taken care of. The food was exceptional — every meal was delicious, with a great variety of options that catered to all tastes. But my personal favorite feature was the outdoor heated pool. It was the perfect place to relax, especially in the evening when the temperatures were cooler.

Lion Bansko Hotel offers fully-equipped, nicely decorated rooms, an elegant restaurant with a bar and a buffet as well as spa and wellness centre.

The hotel was lovely! it was very clean, the beds were comfy, suites were spacious, the breakfast was so nice every morning with loads of different options and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They had a really nice spa area which we tried out on the last day and the location is good too. It’s only about a 5/10 minute walk to the gondola and we stored our skis at the rental shop for 15lev per day so we didn’t have to carry them back to the hotel but there is storage at the hotel too which we used on last day. It’s also right next to all the restaurants or bars for the evening, but it’s still quite at night, so it’s perfect!
