The staff was very friendly, perfect location. The pool on the roof was small but refreshing in the hot summer. Our dog was welcome, it had some snacks and a bowl in the room. Nice surprise.

This place has become our regular stay-over during our journeys. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast is extensive, and all of good quality is at a decent amount. The position of the hotel is decent, and going into town is easy from there.

The Mercure Graz City is ideally located just a few steps from Graz’s historic centre and only 400 meters from the Schlossberg, home to the city’s iconic clock tower.

I made 2 booking last month, both for 1 night only: on June 21st and 25th - 1st via Booking.com and 2nd via All app. Via Booking.com I got the room with breakfast included and stayed in the 3rd floor, front view. Via All app, breakfast wasn't included and the room was in the 1st floor, back view. On both, price was the same. What surprised me was that, although I booked the room for one person (and my dog), the double bed had only ONE pillow. That never happened before on any hotel I booked only for me. The rest of the experience was the same. Points for Booking to provide a better cost/experience for the customer against the owned app from Accor (which I believe should be the opposite if they aim for fidelity).
